SDG 10: REDUCED INEQUALITIES

At UNRISD, we believe education is a powerful tool to reduce inequality. Yet many children—especially girls, the poor, and those in remote areas—face early barriers to quality schooling, limiting their chances of accessing and succeeding in higher education. Our research in Africa and Latin America highlights the need for inclusive, free, and high-quality university systems. By working with partners in the Global South, we co-create solutions to ensure education leads to fairer opportunities and better futures for all.
